By using Astro-Photographer you agree to the following terms.
License
You are licensed to use the app on your devices under Apple's standard End User License Agreement for App Store apps. The app is free in this release, with no in-app purchases or subscription. If a price or purchases are added later, they are handled entirely by Apple under its terms.
Nature of the information
The app is a planning tool. Astronomical events are computed from published algorithms with accuracy sufficient for photography, not for navigation, religious rulings, or any purpose requiring certified precision. Computed crescent visibility is an astronomical estimate of whether the Moon can be seen, not a legal or religious determination of the month's start; that belongs to the competent authorities in your country.
Third-party data
Comet elements come from the JPL Small-Body Database, forecasts from Open-Meteo, and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. This data is an estimate that may be late, unavailable or wrong; the app shows it with the time of its last update, and we do not guarantee its accuracy or availability.
Deep-sky images
Images are from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licenses (CC BY and CC BY-SA) or in the public domain, and the app shows each image's author and license. Rights to each image remain with its author under its license and are not part of the app's license.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". Going out to shoot at night and in remote places is your decision and your responsibility: checking actual weather, the safety of the site, and local regulations. The developer accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the app's information, including a wasted night or equipment damaged by dew.
